The Jedi Order has been destroyed. Order 66 has been passed and the Jedi are on the run and are being tracked by Darth Vader. The Jedi, desperate to recruit young Padawans in order to bring the good side of the Force back to the galaxy, have located a small planet far off in the Outer Rim (Earth). The planet is the last vestige of hope for two Jedi Knights who now place their trust in the young to restore peace and justice to the

galaxy. They have managed to secure a training arena

and an advanced weapons training room, to instruct

the willing Padawans. But the threat of the Dark side is

never far away…

When Star Wars: The Exhibition opened on May 5th 2007  in London’s County Hall, the members of Apocalypse were presented with a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with one of the industries most exciting companies, Lucasfilm Ltd. In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the world’s favourite sci-fi saga, Star Wars: The Exhibition opened in London and displayed many props, story boards, original    costumes, masks and models from the Lucasfilm Archives in Northern California, including a   spectacular life-sized Naboo N-1 Starfighter.

However, it was the interactive elements of the exhibition that received the most widespread acclaim. The members of Apocalypse assisted in the creation of the Green Screen room where visitors could see the visual effects of the Star Wars movies put into practice and ‘enter the movies’ by fighting alongside a Jedi Knight. Customers would master a choreographed fight routine with a lightsaber then witness themselves on screen side by side with the main characters of the Star Wars saga. The visitor also had the opportunity to meet and be photographed with Star Wars characters and even learn to use the force in Jedi School. In association with Lucasfilm, Apocalypse helped to devise and perform in this interactive show in which audience members could discover the reality of battling the Dark Side, armed with the training of a true Jedi Master.

London was the second leg of a touring exhibit that began in Portugal in 2006 and attracted more than 150,000 visitors in the space of two months. London’s Star Wars: The Exhibition was hugely successful and the tour moved on to Brussels, Belgium, in January 2008.

Over the past two years, the directors of Apocalypse have been involved in key creative roles in tourist and scare attractions in London. These roles come in addition to performance roles in other attractions.

Although these are not Apocalypse projects, the main creative input was that of Apocalypse members. The following should give you some idea of what we are capable of creating, the challenges faced and the potential for your attraction.
